ADRK Spring Körung in Blatzheim

An enjoyable Körung with several excellent, "complete" rottweilers with strong conformation and very good bitework. Over the last years the Körung has become harder in many of its aspects, and it seems the dogs who show up for this ultimate selection test, are increasingly well prepared.

On a personal note, I was particularly impressed with the following dogs :

MALES

Valentino vom Hause Neubrand : a very impressive combination of superior size, substance, speed and drive. It is rather rare to see such a large dog be so quick and energetic in his work. Definitely a V-rated dog in conformation, he displayed very solid bitework.

Juri von der Bleichstrasse : also a very large dog with solid conformation and efficient bitework skills.

Filou vom Remmelshof : definitely a top conformation dog, Filou did some excellent work also with impressive speed and impact.

Doc vom Oberhausener Norden : correct conformation on this medium-sized male, not a show winner but for sure a top-SG or V dog. His bitework was very impressive : top speed, strong impacts, and a very intimidating presence in front of the helper. He certainly means business on a VPG field !

FEMALES

Diva vom Hause Anin : very pleasant conformation, clean bitework, another complete rottweiler from this world-famous kennel that deserves the respect of every true rottweiler-lover.

Wendy vom Wachberg : top conformation for this medium-sized female ! Tons of drive on the field as well.

Fette vom Krummen Acker : excellent conformation, and very honest bitework as well for this very complete female.

If von der Rheinfähre : not the best headtype, but excellent body conformation for this medium-sized female who displayed very quick, energetic bitework.

Carin vom Hertener Wappen : did you say D-R-I-V-E ? She was the most impressive rottweiler in this Körung if you ask me. Super conformation with tons of ring-presence. In the bitework, her extreme speed even surprised the helper in part 2, which led to a missed grip. Her energy is fantastic, and she looked as if she had just as much walking out of the field as she had walking in !
